On Saturday, May 21, 2022, members of Okuapeman (Fekuw) Organization of Chicago, volunteered their services at FMSC (Feed My Starving Children) facility in Libertyville, Illinois.
FMSC, is a Christian nonprofit organization, with a mission statement “Feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit”. Thus reaching "everyone until ALL are fed”. The hand-packing meals establishment works with food distribution partners to package and distribute meals to the needy.
Through, the leadership of Mr. Henry Darko, protocol officer of Okuapeman Fekuw; and the group leader this humanitarian service was successful. Our members helped pack meals developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. According to FMSC, “these meals are then donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed, and lives are saved.”
Okuapeman Organization (Fekuw) of Chicago, continues to provide our services to charitable and humanitarian services.
